COLUMBIA, S.C. (WBTW) — A Myrtle Beach cook has been named one of South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster’s 2026 Chef Ambassadors, his office said Thursday night.
Jordan Heyd, the owner and executive chef of Lekker Eats in Myrtle Beach, joins James London of Charleston and Guichard Ulysse of Greer.

“Chef Ambassadors represent the state through food festivals and other promotional opportunities, sharing South Carolina’s culinary traditions, agricultural heritage, and undiscovered places with the world,” McMaster’s office said. “They support our state’s farmers by using Certified South Carolina produce, meats, dairy, seafood, and other farm-fresh foods.”
