MARIETTA — One man was killed Friday night in an accident in Meigs County, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
Anthony Delong, 35, of Surfside Beach, S.C., was killed when the 2016 Dodge Durango he was driving collided with a 1994 Peterbilt tractor trailer driven by Kenny Mast, 28, Sugarcreek, Ohio, the patrol said.
Mast was in the eastbound lane on U.S. 33 where he was attempting to back into a private lot along the road, the patrol said. Mast backed across the westbound lane of Route 33 where Delong, driving west on Route 33, struck the rear of the trailer, the patrol said…
