‘Feels like home’: Myrtle Beach restaurant offers food, good vibes during snowstorm

Wind was ripping and snow was blowing on the streets outside of Wiseguys Bar & Grill in Myrtle Beach on Sunday, Feb. 1, but you wouldn’t have known it inside.

The Grand Strand watering hole acted as a place of warmth and comfort following Saturday night’s snow storm, which left roads shut down and most restaurants completely closed on Sunday.

But at around 2 p.m., the sounds of Billy Joel’s “Piano Man” were being sung and warm dishes were being shuttled out of the kitchen for a lively and upbeat crowd…
