HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — The estate of an Elon University student who died after being hit by a drunk driver in 2023 is suing a restaurant and the driver after his death.
Jason Sauro pled guilty to first-degree assault and a felony after a deadly pedestrian crash in Myrtle Beach in 2023. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison and suspended to five years probation by Judge Hyman.
This suit was filed on Friday in the Horry County Court of Common Pleas and lists Scott P. Yelle and Andrea R. Yelle as representatives of his estate and lists Jason Todd Sauro and Dave & Buster’s of South Carolina, Inc. as defendants…
