MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – South Carolina drivers will face fines starting March 1 for using handheld devices while driving, as the warning period for the state’s hands-free law comes to an end.
The hands-free law took effect nearly six months ago, but drivers have only received warnings during the grace period.
