HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — One person was taken to the hospital Friday afternoon after their vehicle went over an embankment and into the woods along Highway 544, according to Horry County Fire Rescue.
It happened at about 1:20 p.m. near Blake Road and blocked Socastee-bound traffic while emergency crews worked in the area, HCFR said. One person signed a medical transport waiver.
