CAROLINA FOREST, S.C. (WBTW) — A 20-acre wildfire in Carolina Forest has shut down a main road as crews work to contain the incident.
Horry County Fire Rescue responded to the area of Renee Drive shortly before 2:30 p.m. Saturday and have contained much of the blaze using fire breaks.
Postal Way is currently closed due to smoke conditions. The South Carolina Forestry Commission, City of Conway Fire Department and Horry County Police Department are responding.
