Horry County, SC (WMBF) – A Horry County family is continuing their fight to keep a convicted killer behind bars after he was denied parole for the third time Thursday.
Johnnie Kenneth “Ken” Register was convicted of killing and raping 17-year-old Crystal Faye Todd in 1991.
Register, who was a close family friend of Todd’s, is serving two life sentences but remains eligible for parole every two years under an old state law…
