MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Temperatures are very cold this morning as you head out the door. Expect readings in the low 30s along the coast and mid to upper 20s across the Pee Dee. Like yesterday, it’s still breezy, making it feel even colder with wind chills in the upper teens to lower 20s.

We’ll see plenty of sunshine today, but temperatures will remain below average. Afternoon highs will only reach the mid to upper 40s. Tonight, temperatures will drop close to record lows. In Florence, the forecast low is 26°, compared to the record of 24°. North Myrtle Beach is expected to fall to around 28°, not far from its record low of 26°.

Below-average temperatures continue tomorrow, with highs in the upper 40s to near 50. Warmer weather returns Wednesday, with highs climbing back to near normal in the low 60s. We’ll finish the workweek in the mid to upper 60s with partly cloudy skies and periods of rain, especially on Friday…
