Data shows nearly 50% decrease in crime in Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – New data shows Myrtle Beach had a decrease in crime over the past decade.

Based on the Myrtle Beach Police Department’s year in review report, the city had a 48.25% decrease in Part 1 crimes since 2016.
