Chief Prock says she’ll stay in Myrtle Beach, keep serving through community work

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — Myrtle Beach police chief Amy Prock announced her retirement Monday after 30 years of service.

Chief Prock stressed she’s not leaving Myrtle Beach and said she won’t be silent. She wants everyone to know she’s still serving the city, just in a different capacity. She said you’ll still see her working and volunteering in the community.
