Over 6-month investigation leads to drug arrest of Horry Co. man

CONWAY, S.C. (WPDE) — A Longs man was sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to cocaine and heroin charges in Horry County.

Fifteenth Circuit Solicitor Jimmy Richardson announced that on Monday, Feb. 23, 2026, Gerald Steele, 49, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
