The city of Myrtle Beach announced a recruitment firm was hired to conduct the search for the next police chief on Thursday, Feb. 26.
Public Sector Search & Consulting was hired for $38,500 to lead a nationwide search, but is also evaluating internal and external candidates, according to a statement released by the city.
