HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Horry County Schools on Tuesday announced five finalists in the running for its prestigious teacher of the year award.
They are:
- Ryan Dinant, North Myrtle Beach High School
- Deanna Futrell, Socastee High School
- James “Bo” Gorcesky, Pee Dee Elementary School
- Brittany Horne, Ocean Bay Middle School
- Taylor Sinkler, Daisy Elementary School
The district’s contest dates back to 1976 and produced the 2014 South Carolina Teacher of the Year in Jennifer Ainsworth.
