Council discusses public’s growing concerns on Myrtle Beach homelessness

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — Over the last week, the community has raised a series of concerns about the homeless shelter, New Directions, in Myrtle Beach.

During public comment at Tuesday’s Myrtle Beach City Council meeting, one resident said that while there are some resources in Myrtle Beach for those facing homelessness, more can be done.
