HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Several government offices announced they will be closed on Monday ahead of severe weather forecasts.
City of North Myrtle Beach:
As of now, the city plans to operate on normal schedules for Monday.
City of Myrtle Beach:
Officials said the city is operating regularly until further notice.
The Palmetto Greens Neighborhood Watch Meeting scheduled for Monday has been canceled. The group will resume meetings in April.
The following recreation activities are canceled:
- All youth sports
- Swim lessons
- Marlins swim practice
- Coastal Aquatic Club swim practice
- Riptides swim practice
- Special Olympics swim practice
- Skate Safe program
- PALMS program
- All tennis lessons and events at the Rivers Lynch Tennis Center after 1 p.m.
Horry County Parks and Recreation:
All Recreation Centers will close early at 3 p.m. Officials said after-school programs and other scheduled activities/programs will be canceled.
Town of Atlantic Beach:
Town Hall will close at noon.
Darlington County:
General government services will be closed. Officials said this includes services at the courthouse, government building, landfill, recycling/convenience stations, libraries, parks and recreation activities and museum…
