Private contractor for North Myrtle Beach parking enforcement OK’d on first reading

North Myrtle Beach is proposing to have a private contractor handle parking enforcement.

In an unanimous vote on Monday, March 16, North Myrtle Beach City Council passed on first reading a proposed amendment to the code that would allow a private contractor to be used for the city’s parking enforcement, as well as several other changes.
