HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A Myrtle Beach man with 33 arrests in the past two decades will stay in jail.
Shane Cook, 35, was arrested and charged with first-degree assault and kidnapping in January after he allegedly kept a woman from leaving, took her phone and pushed her into the blinds, according to Myrtle Beach police.
Records show Cook has been arrested 33 times, with mugshots dating back to 2009. Public records show police arrested him 11 times in 2025 alone.
