Myrtle Beach man pleads guilty to setting fire to apartment with roommates inside

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – A Myrtle Beach man pleaded guilty Thursday to setting fire to his apartment while his roommates were still inside.

Jake Licoski, 56, pleaded guilty to second-degree arson.

Authorities say Licoski was angered that his three roommates were not renewing the lease with him due to his severe alcohol and substance abuse.

According to officials, Licoski went to Home Depot and purchased several gas canisters, then went to a local gas station and purchased gasoline…
