Atlantic Beach Town Manager Adrian Jones has filed a complaint against Mayor Pro Tem John David Jr. with the South Carolina Ethics Commission.
Jones’ action came a day after a brief but contentious special session of the Atlantic Beach Town Council on Tuesday, March 17.
“Mayor Pro Tem John David Jr.’s conduct demonstrates a persistent pattern of unethical and unlawful behavior,” Jones said in his conclusion. “These violations have eroded public trust, compromised financial accountability, and endangered the Town of Atlantic Beach. I urge the Commission to intervene and hold him accountable under South Carolina Law.”…
