NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – A North Carolina man will spend the next two decades in prison.
Kevin Penland, 39, of Hope Mills, was convicted of possession of a stolen vehicle, trafficking methamphetamines 100 to 200 grams, and possession of burglary tools used during the commission of a crime.
On June 18, 2024, a North Myrtle Beach police officer noticed a U-Haul truck in an empty parking lot, and the license plate did not come back to that vehicle, but the plate did return as being stolen.
