The Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance (MBDA) is set to begin a series of community listening sessions this week as part of its ongoing efforts to revitalize the Carver Street neighborhood.
The sessions, which focus on an area designated as “Block Two” in the alliance’s redevelopment program, aim to give residents a direct voice in shaping future improvements. MBDA representatives will use the meetings to better understand community concerns, identify local challenges, and explore ways to provide stronger support and advocacy for neighborhood needs.
Local residents are encouraged to attend and share their input at the following scheduled sessions:
- Thursday, March 26 — 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1008 Carver Street
- Monday, March 30 — 2 to 4:30 p.m. at Mount Olive AME Church, 1108 Carver Street
