DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Horry and Darlington county officials have issued a burn ban for all areas outside city and town limits until further notice after the South Carolina Forestry Commission issued a statewide Red Flag Fire Alert.
The alert indicates an elevated wildfire risk due to current weather conditions, which include high winds, low humidity, and minimal recent rainfall, officials said.
