Myrtle Beach community, businesses collecting gift cards for TSA agents

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Grand Strand businesses and community members are coming together this weekend to support TSA agents at MYR who went more than a month without pay during the federal government shutdown.

Myrtle Beach native Jeff Benton said he posted on Facebook a few days ago asking people to donate $25-or-less gift cards for TSA agents working at Myrtle Beach International Airport.

Since then, Benton said the response has been overwhelming, generating 285 comments and 180 shares on the post as of Friday afternoon…
