HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — More than five years after 28-year-old Peter Franco was shot to death in his car near North Kings Highway, Horry County police say no one has been charged.
Lt. Jonathan Kelly with the Horry County Police Department (HCPD) said Franco was “just driving home from work” when he was killed in the area of North Kings Highway just after midnight on Jan. 2, 2021.
“This case in particular is very frustrating that we can’t solve it at this point. Or we haven’t solved it at this point,” Kelly said. “It’s very frustrating because he did not contribute to any altercation. He had no hand in anything that happened to him.”…
