MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — A recent NOAA social media post has renewed attention on a decade-old study of dune erosion along the Grand Strand after Hurricane Matthew, but the coastal scientist who led that research says the findings no longer reflect what is happening in Myrtle Beach today.
