SURFSIDE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — The Champion Autism Network (CAN) was formed as a way to introduce more sensory-friendly activities and events for individuals with autism, and after 10 years, their vision for a more inclusive community continues to grow.
Since its incorporation in 2016, CAN has hosted those sensory-friendly activities and events throughout the Grand Strand. On Thursday, the organization celebrated its 10th anniversary, a milestone that founder Becky Large couldn’t believe.
