Myrtle Beach police SWAT team gets $3,500 donation for first aid kits from Grand Strand Health

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — A $3,500 to the Myrtle Beach Police Department SWAT team from Grand Strand Health will help officers during emergency situations.

The donation will be used to equip SWAT team members with Individual First Aid Kits that include combat gauze, chest seals, tourniquets and other items that “can truly make a difference between life and death situations in high-risk situations. “Grand Strand Health said in a news release.
