‘She needs love from us’: Community rallies behind Horry County woman who lost house, dogs in fire

CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) — Friends and community members in the Conway area are rallying to support a woman after a fire on Friday killed her two dogs and destroyed much of her home.

The blaze occurred at the property of Samantha Huff, who was at work when the fire started.

Huff is a prominent local volunteer, serving as the president of the Junior League of the Grand Strand and working with the New Directions Homeless Shelter. Neighbors and fellow volunteers have gathered at the property to help clean out debris and salvage remaining belongings…
