Another warm and dry weekend ahead

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Following another warm day with highs in the 70s, we cool back down into the 50s overnight. We remain clear, with light winds and rain will stay away.

As we head into the weekend, temperatures will warm slightly more. Coastal areas will reach the mid to upper-70s, while inland locations climb into the 80s. A weak cold front will dip down Saturday night and could bring a sprinkle or two to inland areas, but otherwise it won’t have much impact.

Early next week, a large area of high pressure will take control along the Gulf Coast. That will lead to warmer, above-average temperatures and slightly more humid air. Almost every day next week will be in the 80s, with inland areas pushing into the upper 80s…
