Warming up this week

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – High pressure will move into the area and establish itself of of the Southeast coast. This will allow for warm southerly flow to return to the area, helping increase temperatures through mid week.

Tonight clear skies and light winds will allow for our temperatures to fall into low to mid 50s along the coast. Once you get inland from the coast, low temperatures will cool into the upper 40s to near 50 degrees.

Monday through Wednesday, increasing southerly flow will allow temperatures to warm into the low to mid 70s, and into the 80s at the coast by Wednesday. Inland temperatures will be in the upper 70s by Monday, with temperatures into the 80s for Tuesday and Wednesday. Humidity will begin to build as well, as we start to see humidity and dew points increase. A stray shower or storm could form on the seabreeze inland on Wednesday…
