Former NMB sergeant sues after rifle fired while responding to 2025 shooting

(WPDE) — A former North Myrtle Beach police sergeant is suing a gun manufacturer after an accidental discharge of his weapon last year.

It happened during Memorial Day weekend while he was responding to a mass shooting at Harbourgate Marina in Little River.
