A teen has been arrested and charged with attempted murder and weapons charges after he allegedly plotted to carry out a shooting at a suburban elementary school.
According to police in suburban Plainfield, deputies were called to a home on Helmar Lane on May 22 at approximately 12:50 p.m. for reports of a “male suicidal suspect.”
