(WPTA) – A 30-year-old Illinois man is in jail Tuesday after allegedly leading police on a pursuit through Whitley and Allen Counties.
Tavin Miller, of Bellwood, Illinois, is charged with felony resisting law enforcement and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, as well as misdemeanor reckless driving and criminal mischief.
Indiana State Police say a trooper was patrolling on US30 in Whitley County when he attempted to stop a white Chevrolet car for speeding. Once the lights and sirens turned on, the driver led police on a “dangerous and erratic” chase through Whitley and Allen Counties…
