OAK BROOK, Ill. — There have been miles of smiles with Dad on Sunday at Oakbrook Center in west suburban Oak Brook.
That’s the site of the annual Father’s Day Car Show, where many fathers and their kids are taking a trip down memory lane Sunday — like Roger and Ben Obecny, who make the drive up from Tinley Park every year on Father’s Day.
“We’ve been coming here 20-some years, probably something like that,” Roger Obecny said. “It’s a generational thing. People that like these cars are 85, 90 years old and don’t take them out anymore.”
