IDOT announced today that as part of ongoing efforts to rebuild the Interstate 80 bridges over U.S. 30 and the Des Plaines River, in Joliet, lane closures will be required on U.S. 6 beginning, weather permitting, Wednesday, July 15.
By 7 a.m. Wednesday, U.S. 6 from McDonough Street to east of Brandon Road will be reduced from two lanes to one in both directions, with various lane shifts approaching the I-80 bridge.
