A company based in Lisle, Illinois, is recalling more than 12,000 pounds of bacon.
Maple Leaf Foods made the recall, and according to the USDA, the bacon was brought in from Canada without the required U.S. import reinspection.

The products in question are the Royale Natural Applewood Smoked All Natural Uncured Bacon with sell-by dates of September 1 and 7 of 2026. There’s also the Top Valu Uncured Hardwood Smoked Bacon with sell-by dates of September 1, 2, 4, 5, and 7 of 2026.
