District 204 installed a new turf in the stadium. During summer, construction insinuated throughout the district upgrading our campus.
The stadium featured turf that had been used over 16 years. Recently, it was decided to upgrade the turf. The turf features a design with a mustang, gold track, and decorated goals. The track is made of latex and polyurethane.
Boy’s soccer coach Joshua Robinson said the reason for construction: “we’ve been open 17 years now, so this is the first redo of the stadium.” Robinson also mentioned the state of the old turf: “it’s important to kind of be able to kind of get new turf that’s, you know, not matted down as much anymore.”…
