Four modern Illinois golf courses were recently named among the best in the nation by Golfweek, a national golf magazine that’s part of USA Today.
Golfweek’s June 1 report, “The top 200 modern golf courses in the U.S., ranked for 2026,” found Medinah Country Club’s “Course No. 3” tied for 21st, with Butler National Golf Club in Oak Brook in 53rd place, Black Sheep Golf Club in Sugar Grove tied for 123rd and Conway Farms Golf Club in Lake Forest tied for 180th.
