Sugar Grove Village Hall says the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is making repairs to the eastbound U.S. 30 ramp to northbound Route 47. The ramp will be closed for about a month. Traffic is being detoured to Galena Boulevard to access northbound Route 47.
One northbound Route 47 lane will also be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and one eastbound lane on the bridge over 47 will also be closed. There will also be temporary lane closures throughout the project.
Later in the month, all of northbound 47 will be closed for the installation of steel beams over the road…
