Oswego Senior Center seeks $66,000 from village for 2027

The Oswego Senior Center is asking the village for $66,000 in funding for 2027, a 10% increase from the $60,000 it has previously received, as the organization reports increased attendance while operating with fewer full-time employees.

Senior Center representative Michelle Bergeron presented the request Tuesday during the Village of Oswego Committee of the Whole meeting. She said the center continues to serve primarily Oswego residents while also reaching seniors from other parts of Kendall County and nearby communities.
