Rensselaer, IN – Police in Jasper County are searching for a 21-year-old Illinois man accused of threatening a woman during a carjacking near Interstate 65 before fleeing authorities following a separate vehicle crash.
According to the Rensselaer Police Department, officers responded shortly before 10 a.m. July 30, 2026, to a reported carjacking near the intersection of I-65 and State Road 114.
