Peotone, IL – A barn fire in rural Will County prompted a multi-department emergency response Friday evening, with firefighters quickly bringing the flames under control after encountering smoke and confirming an active fire inside the structure.
According to the Manhattan Fire Protection District, emergency crews were dispatched at approximately 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, to the 29000 block of South Joliet Road in Peotone following reports of a barn fire.
