Chicago man accused of restraining, robbing man at gunpoint in Rogers Park

CHICAGO — Charges have been filed against a Chicago man accused of restraining a man and robbing him at gunpoint on the city’s Far North Side, over six months after the alleged crime occurred.

According to Chicago police, 29-year-old Andre Mhoon, a West Ridge resident, is facing two felony charges including armed robbery and aggravated unlawful restraint.

Police say the charges stem from Mhoon’s role in an armed robbery that allegedly unfolded in late June of 2023.
