COLP, Ill. (WJPF) – Two self-admitted members of a Chicago street gang have been arrested in Williamson County on drug and gun charges. The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office says Victor Hurd and LaShawn Walker were arrested without a fight during a raid on home in Colp Friday morning. Both men told police they were member of the Gangster Disciples, a Chicagoland street gang thought to have nearly 30,000 members in Chicago with several thousand more members in at least 35 other states.
