CHICAGO — An investigation is underway after a man was beaten and robbed while trying to sell a dirt bike on the city’s South Side.
Chicago police say it all happened just before 4 p.m. in the 6700 block of South Throop Street in Englewood on Monday afternoon.

According to Chicago police, the victim, a 29-year-old man, organized a meetup with another man to sell the dirt bike. The men met up in the area to conduct the sale, but police say that is when another man approached the victim and demanded his property.
Police say the two men then beat and robbed the victim before fleeing the scene. It is unclear if the men stole the victim’s dirt bike.
Authorities say no arrests have been made and an investigation is underway.
