(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — In Bartlett, police have warned residents of “highly addictive substances” that are sold under the names of “Do-si-dos,” “Tagalongs,” and “Samoas.”
The Bartlett Police Department said these “substances” are often distributed by “strong, intelligent, fearless young women” who loiter outside grocery stores.
Community members were cautioned not to be tricked by these women’s “puppy-dog eyes and good-cause stories.”
Police reassured Bartlett residents, though, that they are prepared to support the community as it fights the epidemic of “so-called ‘Girl Scout Cookies.’”
Residents were encouraged to bring any evidence to the Bartlett Police Station, where officers promised to safely dispose of it.
