The Elgin Police Department has released the body-worn camera video of an officer-involved shooting that occurred on January 13, 2024 in the 900 block of Oak Ridge Boulevard. According to EPD, on that day at 1:28 a.m., an officer responded to the 900 block of Oak Ridge Boulevard for a reported suicidal subject.
