The Sheriff’s Office shared its daily report for February 9, 2024, outlining several incidents. The first involved Justin D. Hobbs, a 32-year-old from Oswego Township, who was wanted for contempt in Kane County. Deputies located Hobbs during an investigation and took him to Kendall County Jail.
Later, deputies delivered civil process paperwork to Bowra Valencia, a 31-year-old from Oswego. Valencia was wanted for violating a protection order in Kendall County. He was also taken to Kendall County Jail.
The report mentioned several speeding incidents. Jocelyn Martinez, 23, from Rockford, and Angelita A. Noren, 49, from Chicago Ridge, were cited for driving over 35 mph above the limit. Christopher Field, 35, from Kendall Township, was cited for driving 26-34 mph over the limit. All three received a notice to appear.
Deputies also responded to a traffic accident with injuries in Oswego Township. An 18-year-old from Montgomery was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The last reported incident was a domestic battery case in Oswego Township, which is still under investigation. The Sheriff’s Office reiterated that everyone is considered innocent until proven guilty.
