Charges filed in Logan Square hit-and-run that left father of 4 dead

CHICAGO – Charges have been filed in a hit-and-run crash that left a father of four dead in Logan Square last year. Leonardo Franco-Salgado was riding his motorized scooter southbound on Pulaski Road around 2:20 a.m. on October 1 when the driver of a silver Honda Civic barreled through a red light and struck him at 61 mph, officials said. Franco-Salgado, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene.
